Today after class we went on a field trip to a restaurant and market to practice all the things that we have been learning. For less than $5 each Kevin and I got a Coke and 4 large Huushuur. I was full after only two but I tried one of my classmates Byyz. When I bit into it grease squirted out of two holes in the sides and left grease spots all over the table cloth. I was very glad that the holes were facing the away from me. When Kevin saw that he decided not to try them. The huushuur were greasy as well and I feel like I want a salad. We went to the market after lunch and did a little shopping. I don't really need anything so I just wandered around looking at all the knocked-off products. We walked through the meat market with carcasses of different animals hanging on poles. There were even tables with stacks of horse meat. At another stand I was surprised to find the front of a pigs head sitting on the table. (Kevin got a picture so keep your eyes open for that.) The market was very near our apartment so when we had finished Kevin and I left the group and walked back.
